"Divided Horizons" is the revolution of RPG. In the 3 year timespan since it's release, it has captured the hearts of casual and hardcore gamers alike. The player starts by creating their own avatar with a fully interactable costumizer, and usually spend many hours just designing their character before starting the game. With practice, this process can take 20 minutes minimum.

Not only are the avatar's appearance costumizable, but one can also set the character's personality, weaknesses (minimum 3 required), strengths, interests, and so on. All the tables must be filled out, so the common option is to use the randomizer option to give a surprise character that can range from useless to full-fledged fighter. All these parameters changes how the character reacts to changes within one's game.

The world you locate yourself in is also one that you can chose for yourself. Want a futuristic year 3000? Perhaps you want that jurrassic feeling to fill you with adrenaline? The iceage is filled with challenges, as is medieval times. Or maybe you just want your common suburbean city to be your playing field? Your imagination is the limit.

As the story progresses, your character will get the option to gather allies. While anonymous and faceless in the beginning, your actions will shape your allies into unique and special fighters for you. You can also use the same character costumization to "seek" such allies to contact you. Over time, your avatar and allies will also build relationships with one another, marry one another, have children, and those children will grow alongside their parents and you as well, until the day they can join you in battle.

It's also worth nothing that the game is still being patched and updated with new content files, and all of them are community made, so a Candyland is fully possible to wander in, your charater will need a certain type of food to function, and so on. There is so much to do, one could say you live an alternative life inside the game. And even after 3 years, the owners of these games still find time to at least devote a little of their freetime to expand on their world.

One could say: "Well it is just a game, right?" To some, who has spent many hours building their own society in these games, it can be very hard to let go. They can always open the game at any time and continue...but what if someone who is deeply invested in this game, who loves meeting and creating new characters, who loves to explore the vast wastelands of his or her worlds, were to lose all of this in an instant...?

What if........

Their life.......

Also changed.......

In that one instant?
So....I got this idea while visiting the library's manga section....

It's just a work in progress, with ideas drawn from Fire Emblem, various "OMG, I'm in another world!" anime/manga, and my own personal touches and what-not.

We'll see if it comes some more out of this....

Not likely, knowing my past with ideas.

Its an interesting idea, but and don't take this the wrong way, dont you think you should try and take your other story ideas and do more with them first? Like Friendly Chaos, and Gemstone, and continue to develop them into their respective things? (Like Gemstone and the Comic/Manga; not sure what exactly your intentions with Friendly Chaos are)
